It was a packed house for the NWFOI Lone Soldier event to raise funds to purchase essential equipment for the units of three of our Manchester Lone Soldiers. There was a special showing of the emotional film “Beneath the Helmet” followed by a traditional Israel supper of Schwarma, falafel, humous and of course Israeli salad. Over 160 people attended and raised in excess of £4,000 for this very worthwhile cause.
